one handed Monk weapons
I'm playing a LvL 15 Mo/R ,
I can't seem to find any one handed weapons? any recommendations? I lot of scrolls and magic items are off hand items and I'd like to get their bonuses like Energy +7 or Healing Anks etc? |

There are a few out there. Smiting Rod first comes to mind and is a ranged weapon. Usually dont drop to Monks in combat and other party members sell them off quickly after mission/quest completion. But as you said they are hard to find. And they have a fairly low damage, 7-14 is the highest I've seen. So let your party know wat your looking for before a mission/quest. They'll usually just give them to you.
In the meantime the best thing to do is just use any single handed weapon that doesn't have requirements if possible (hard to find too!) so you can use the anks, scrolls etc. The energy benifit far outways the minor damage a monk does in melee. I was frustrated too for a long time due to lack of decent weapon availability to the Mo class. Until I got my Gold Holy Staff! Zilm Trufar LVL20 Mo |

wands are the one-handed weapon of choice for monks. try to find something tied to the attributes you plan on using.

I agree I am also a lvl15 Mo/R and I can't seem to find anything worthwhile. I also never see anyone selling anything good either!

worse than that I found a weapon and it won't work as advertised?
I found a GOLD (rare) Smiting Staff of Defense Energy +10 Light Dmg 10-19 (req. 9 Smiting Prayers) Quick recovery from weakness Improves recharge using Inspiration Magic Skills Armor +5 OK first the thing only damages 6-8 pts per hit? my Holy Staff does more? and it is only rated 8-13? next as a Monk what are Inspiration Magic Skills? |
